Third floor walk up room in furthest building from reception and after carrying our luggage up (no elevators) we come to find that our key cards don’t work. Pretty small room. Ok for a quick stay if coming in or out of SJO for the night. This is a 3 star hotel at best.

This was a great hotel for our stay in San Jose. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and always ready to help. Check in was smooth and efficient, our room was fine, and we enjoyed using the pool (although it is cold) and the onsite restaurant.

Breakfast was terrific, fresh and lots of choices, plus excellent coffee. Dinner, drinks and desserts were divine. This is an older hotel with a bit of that “funky” wet smell in some carpeted areas, but that was my only complaint. Pool and grounds were gorgeous and well maintained.
